3 on 3 battle, that had been used for until KOF 98, is back in this title again instead of Strikers System in KOF 99, KOF 2000 and KOF 2001!

MAX Power System
Easier and more evolved new MAX Power System in various ways has been introduced in this title. Players become more powerful temporarily by using up one power stock!
When in MAX Power, a timer appears above the power gauge. MAX Power continues until time is up. After the timer becomes zero, MAX Power finishes.
To start MAX Power, it is necessary to stock power. The first, second and third character can stock 3, 4 and 5 power stocks respectively. Strategic attacks mentioned on the right will be possible by using one stock for each attack.
