story
Zipangu City, the early 21st century.
Here, the Battle of the Beast God—a fighting tournament where only the most savage stand to survive—is unveiled by the enigmatic King Lion, thrusting its fearsome competitors into a lawless warring wasteland.
Rival powers cast King Lion out of Zipangu City after the contest's conclusion, but his reign of terror is far from over: The goliath secretly pledges to host it again, this time in the form of 2-on-2 tag bouts. Friends and acquaintances, foes and archnemeses—the wheel of fate turns, unlikely alliances are forged, and a new battle begins. Will bonds be sealed or shattered in this second coming of the Battle of the Beast God? Only time—and tag team turmoil—will tell.
