You can charge the Special Move Gauge by holding down the □ button. Release this button when you reach the level of the Special Move you want to unleash to your enemies. However, note that you aren’t able to use the Normal Shot when you keep pressing the □ button, and, after have performed a Special Move, you will have to wait until the gauge recovers to perform a Special Move again. Be careful to not use Special Moves excessively!!
There are 3 types of Special Moves with different effects: use them wisely to clear the game!
※The Special Attacks performed by the bosses (each one has its own animation) can’t be absorbed.

Press the X button to unleash bombs. Bombs clear a wide arc across the screen and inflict high damage on enemies but don’t forget that they are limited in number!!

You can make a provocation by pressing the △ button when your character is in a neutral position. Provoking will strengthen your firepower during a limited period of time. Also, if you taunt during a BOSS BATTLE, the Special Move Gauge of your enemy will reach to MAX in the blink of an eye !
Taunting is a risky thing to do, but when activated, enemy's guard gets weakened, bonus items' rank will increase and many more merits! Provoke enemies at the best moment to get a high score !
