After completing the Graduate School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the United States, he joined Oracle Corporation of Japan. He then joined Koei (now Koei Tecmo Games), where he was appointed President and Representative Director in June 2007. Since then, he has served as President and CEO of Zinga Japan and President and COO of Sega Games.
He has served as CEO of SNK since August 2021. His motto, “THE BEST WAY TO PREDICT THE FUTURE IS TO INVENT IT. is displayed in illuminated letters in the lobby of SNK’s Tokyo office to welcome visitors.
