SNK CORPORATION (Corporate HQ: Suita-city, Osaka, Japan, Company President & CEO: Koichi Toyama) is pleased to announce that SNK is sponsoring THE KING OF FIGHTERS CHARITY CUP held by Asian Electronic Sports Federation (AESF) as a part of AESF’s #YourHomeYourArena campaign.
With the aim of connecting and uniting the esports community through social media and online
tournaments, AESF’s #YourHomeYourArena serves an ultimate goal of providing assistance to the vulnerable communities who have been adversely impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic through Esports activities, crowdfunding, and fundraising drives. THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIV CHARITY CUP will be held online with 8 top players in Asia, and the prize money will be donated to support communities. Tune in for some great matches!

Addressing the esports community in Asia in regard to the initiative, the AESF President, Mr. Kenneth Fok said, “I would like to take this opportunity to extend my gratitude to our friends at SNK who made this tournament possible. Your willingness to contribute and play a major part in ensuring this event takes off is highly appreciated and we will always be here to support and drive Asian Eports to a greater height.”

Commenting on the AESF YHYA The King of Fighters XIV Charity Cup, Chairman of SNK, Mr. Ge Zhihui said, “I am thrilled to have SNK be part of this initiative which is a great representation of the Esports commitment to excel not just in-game, but in society as well. Covid-19 has brought many hardships to everyone and I feel it is our duty as a society to help those who are affected by it more than others.
