SNK CORPORATION (Corporate HQ: Suita-city, Osaka, Japan, Company President & CEO：Kenji Matsubara) is proud to announce the launch of the DLC Team AWAKENED OROCHI for THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV (KOF XV) on August 8th, with further plans for other future DLC characters and updates.

DLC Team AWAKENED OROCHI launches August 8th at 12AM PDT!
OROCHI YASHIRO, OROCHI SHERMIE, and OROCHI CHRIS are three characters who worked in the shadows to revive Orochi in KOF ’97. Now they are back to form Team AWAKENED OROCHI and are coming to KOF XV! *There may be a difference in launch times between platforms.
DLC Team SAMURAI announced for 2022 fall release!
HAOHMARU, NAKORURU, and DARLI DAGGER from SNK’s popular fighting game SAMURAI SHODOWN are coming to KOF XV!
Legendary SNK heroes TERRY BOGARD from the FATAL FURY series, KYO KUSANAGI from the KOF series, RYO SAKAZAKI from the ART OF FIGHTING series, and now HAOHMARU from the SAMURAI SHODOWN series meet up in KOF XV for an all-out SNK brawl!
The NEXT SEASON starts in 2023! Classic SNK fan-favorites SHINGO YABUKI and KIM KAPHWAN announced, with plans for long-awaited crossplay on the way!
Over 54 fighters are joining the tournament!
DLC characters for KOF XV include 7 currently available characters, 8 previously announced characters, as well as unannounced characters from the NEXT SEASON, for a total of over 15 planned characters. Together with the 39 playable characters in the main game, a total of more than 54 characters will join KOF XV! Stay tuned for more announcements!
