THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII GLOBAL MATCH will have
its 3rd Open Beta Test (October 3-9 PDT) on PlayStation®4!

SNK CORPORATION (Corporate HQ: Osaka City, Osaka, Japan; Company President & CEO: Kenji Matsubara) is proud to announce a third PlayStation®4 open beta test for THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII GLOBAL MATCH (KOF XIII GM), with the aim of improving the quality of the online experience. The title is currently in development for PlayStation®4 and Nintendo Switch™, and is scheduled to release on November 16, 2023. The test will run from October 3, 2023 (7 PM PDT, Tuesday) through October 9, 2023 (7 PM PDT, Monday).

This test incorporates user feedback from the previous two OBTs.

What is THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII GLOBAL MATCH?

With its iconic 2D sprite-based graphics (unmatched in the series), mechanics, and storylines, THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII remains beloved by fans around the world to this day. THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII GLOBAL MATCH enhances that experience with the addition of rollback netcode for fun and fast-paced online matches, allowing you to engage in epic battles against fighters worldwide. Plus, with new online lobbies (accommodating up to nine people), you’ll be able to interact with plenty of your fellow players and watch them duke it out (via spectator mode) on a global scale!

This test is aimed at improving the quality of the game’s online features. It’s free to play even without a PlayStation®︎Plus subscription.

Download from the PlayStation®︎ Store and join the action.

* If you still have the game data for the 1st/2nd Open Beta Test on your system, you can participate by installing the newest update patch (to be released later) instead.

・An Internet connection is required for this test (during both offline and online play).

・Story Mode will not be available during this test.

・The OBT version of the game will only be playable during the designated test period.

・Save data from this test cannot be transferred to the retail version.
