■ About the Waseda-style Format
Each team consists of two players, with the first players from each team facing off in Set 1 and the second players competing in Set 2. If one team wins both of these initial sets, the match concludes immediately in their favor. However, if the score is tied 1-1, a third and deciding set is played between the winning player of Set 1 and the winning player of Set 2. The victor of this final set claims the overall match for their team.
■ Participating Regions
Online qualifiers will play out across the following regions. Players must reside in a given country/region to be eligible for participation there. Team validity is dictated by regional classification, not individual residence; two players who reside in different countries within the same qualifier region may still form a team.
